| In foreign firms catalogs this cartridge is classified as 7.62x39 HP. Because of hard spelling “Hollow Point” (Hollow Nose) Russians have immediately transformed it as joke “Holupony” (cannot be translated). In technical plans this cartridge occupies the intermediate position amidst analogous cartridges with FMJ and SP bullets. The principle difference from FMJ is that HP has a hole up to 1 mm in the top of bullet and has a hollow in its head part. Having a low effusiveness than SP cartridge. it is intended for medium game and it is easier for target shooting. |
